Brutal to watch.
Looks like a young bear that doesn't quite know what he's doing.

It's like the old saying but with a change "if a bear eats a deer in the forest and no one hears it did it really happen" BUT if it's in your back yard "oh god call someone it's cruel!!!!!" People need a reality check and get out in the wild and realise we are not that far removed from our prehistoric roots, despite what the PC idiots and control-ists say who try to make us all the same and take away our individuality. Screw them I say!!!

Reasonably certain that is a not grizzly...looks like a blonde phase black bear.,,shape of head and hump on back (not there)..
But yes, if that was in my back yard, that would be a dead bear..Where I live there is literally millions of acres of open space, my back yard isn't one of them..

OK gentlemen - Some opinions from real outdoorsmen please - Does the bear (whatever it is) know what it's doing as far as killing or is there a reason why the whole thing looks like a prison rape?
Call someone? Are they serious?
Either shoot the bear or shoot the deer for mercy's sake.
This is what happens when people only eat meat from under cellophane.

Yeah I agree RIPP - - right off, blond or cinnamon black bear and not an old one at that - 3 year old - 175/180 pounds maybe.

Nature is confrontational when it is your back yard. It's not clean and sanitised as portrayed on the Disney Channel. And it might come and eat you when it's finished with the deer..

One interesting thing about the bear, lions, the cheeta, leopard, tigers, all of which kill before they eat - not so the BC wolf.

Yes - 24,000 Yellowstone Elk reduced to less than 4,000 - probably much less now, as that figure is over a year old. They are killing machines. Show no quarter.

I arrive a bit late. Should that happens in my garden, I would be very puzzled. I agree it's nature in action, why interfer. In fact everybody is pleased whith having deers in or close the backyard. Having a bear is a different story. Personally, for the safety of the wife and the kids, I'd first inform the police and if any solution is ASAP found, I'd gladly shoot the bear, either officially or unofficially depending on the mind of the police. Period.
the guy who has a shovel is dodging lots of problems.
