Rare Set to Find

A while back I blundered into an uncommon set. It's a 1938 BSW (Simson in Nazi Germany) two-barrel set that had not been separated in 1945 like many sporting arms with other barrels or detachable scopes.

It's a BSW Astora 35 BD in 16ga/8X57IR and second set of 16 SXS barrels. It has a more modern store branded S&B 2.5-8 scope in claw mounts. I shoot the shotgun set like it was made for me. The Jewish Simson family left Germany in 1939, and their company was essentially given to the Nazis in 1936, who later re-named it Gustlov Werke in 1939.

It even came with a leather soft case for the shotgun barrels.
