I would raise the whole sighting system. Keeping the head top of the V as one should, but aim higher. Doesn't anyone actually use the method shown in the image? It appears to me an excellent method to shoot badly with. Especially as the range increases and more precise aiming is required. I note the stag stays the same with the ranges in the illustration. I think it is a 1920s marketing idea for the tyro buyer. |
