Marrakai, reloading in Spain used to be illegal and everyone did it then they made it legal but with a big exam and no one does it. I think this just means everyone does it still but ignores the law. I know a lot of people cross the border to Portugal to get their "supplies". Here is a question for some of you. Suppose I want to reload 4 calibres, 6.5 X 54 MS, .30-06, .375 H@H rimmed and .500 3" NE, what press and dies would you recommend. I have been advised RCBS are the best. I would also need powder scales, chamfers etc. I already have the Nosler, Hornady, A Square (not to be relied on I hear), Lymans reloading catalogues and lastly, a tough one, which one powder for each calibre will suit me assuming heavier bullet weights in each on the calibres, i.e. 160 in the 6.5, 180-200 in the .30-06, 300 in the .375 and standard 570 in the .500 NE. Jabali, I guess you are in the industry in the UK. Do I need a UK firearms cert to buy reloading gear or will a Spanish and/or EEC cert suffice ? What will be my outlay for the above ? best Mike |
