You seem to be in the market for a rifle to hunt with. If I'm correct, take a look at the weights of the rifles. The 475 is 12lbs 4oz, the 470 10lbs 8oz. The 475 shoots a 480gr bullet, the 470 a 500. The 470 wieghs what it should, the 475 weighs too much in my opinion.

Just personal preference, but with a 470 or a 475 I'd prefer a tad more weight than a tad too little to damp down recoil, especially for the follow up shot. Dave
