It is a .72 cal (12 bore) double muzzleloader rifle with a 1:75 twist from Pedersoli. It has two folding rear sights, the rear most sight is used for both barrels at 50yrds ( regulated per the factory). The front rear sight is for the left barrel for what ever distance you want to sight it in at. At least this is what I have read. Most people sight the left barrel for 100yrds. It has been very, very cold here in Denver, so my shooting time has been nil. You can't even load the thing in 10 degree weather because the butter bore freezes! If you've read the story of the guy who made a 4 bore, you can get an idea what this is like to shoot. Lots of smoke, a big shove back and the barrels pointing up. Its a hoot! Colorado |
