Well, I couldn't stand it sitting at the side lines any longer. I never thought the day would come that I would agree with Nordmann, but he is absolutely right. This is nothing more than a fine example of "free enterprise". And perhaps a "shoulda - coulda - woulda" .... all too late. I've got dozens of guns that could be easily tracked back to when/how much, I got them for on the internet. But that will have little to do with what I will be asking when I go to sell them. Just because some big Texas Dealer sets the first price, doesn't make it so. I've bought many things from this "exact" Big Texas Dealer, and have made a tidy profit every time I've sold the item. Once I bought a rifle for $2400, and didn't feel a bit guilty when I sold it for $5500, less than a year later. He was happy, I was happy, and my buyer was happy. So happy he bought another one from me 18 months later. That's what makes the World go round. |
