Here are two fired ones and one unfired one.
As you can see they are .422" fired from my 404,.423".

The drive bands are the only thing that touched the rifleing.

One came from a Cape Buff and the other went the full length of a Hyena and was found three feet into the dirt.

As Daryl say's there is no harm in slugging your bore.
