This has always interested me. Shotguns I have a 14 7/8" and that is spot on. I am 5´11" but with long arms. Double rifle same length of pull, the .375 has a QD scope but again, fine. The US rifles I have bought, a Ruger and a Marlin are about 13 1/2 ?? weird to me, my elbow sticks out the side and it doesn´t feel good, same with my Remington 870 pump, stock is completely too short ?? maybe you guys in the States wear thick clothing, that would change it a bit, regards, Mike p.s. the Mannlicher and the Hagn are 14 1/2 from memory when done.
