Would you believe it we had a bull elephant do this to us in Addo Elephant Park in South Africa.

While driving along a track an elephant came running along behind us. He kept at it too, for a long time. He was far enough away that it didn't feel too dramatic. Eventually the guide decided to step on the gas and leave it behind to keep the "tourists" safe. That actually really FFFFs me off, as it could have been very good film footage. I'm sick of dealing with these hand holding spineless types who pretend to be "guides". Too many opportunities lost for good results over the last few years.
