This one came from RSA and there was a lot of them there. It's the springbok you see on the Krugarrand and it's the national animal of RSA.
Other animals seen in the area was ostrich, impala, Kudu, Duiker, Gemsbok, eland, zebra and I don't remember what all.....
They are a beautiful animal with grace a-foot and fun to hunt. I've lost 60 pounds since this trip and the photo is a trifle of an embarressment but what ta hell....here it is.

The leveraction M-92 in the photo is a trifle small for Springbok but the .223 to 6.5X55 is a good choice.
