You were careless enough to make several simultaneous mistakes: (a) safety off, (b) finger on trigger, (c) muzzle not pointed in a safe direction, and (d) backing up (idiots and cowards always fall down backing away from danger).
(a) Preparing to shoot a charging Buffalo only paces away.
(b) Preparing to shoot a charging Buffalo only paces away.
(c) Preparing to shoot a charging Buffalo only paces away.
(d) Stupid comment, even the likes of Ivan Carter and Ian Gibson "back peddle" to get things lined up.
Note; Even Stu said that he was unaware of the Buffalo and had to shoot it off the end off his rifles barrel, off the hip.
"Accidents do seem to happen but it is just absolutely poor and amateurish handling of the firearm and no bloody excuse".
I hope this happens to none of us as we are all far from perfect.
