Need some help from you blokes down south of the equator. Never saw one of these for sale before in the USA and couldn't help myself. I like the 22 Hornet and I like them on real centerfire actions. What kind of trouble did I buy? Do they shoot? Feeding or mechanical issues? First year gun without the dimple in the rear bridge.
Thanks.
Hello TJ,
Your rifle is a BSA Standard Weight short action, and the model name is 'REGENT'. They normally shoot extremely well, and don't usually have any feeding dramas.
I've been shooting these early BSA's in a few different calibers for over 30 years.
That rifle of yours looks to be in great condition! Well done!
