I found out one of my friends that dose custom load development has worked up loads for three different rifles. He should be a good source for data. IMR or H 4350 seem to be the powder of choice. The 6.5 creedmoor uses a large rifle primer and carries a slightly larger case capacity than the Lupua. Both shoot 140gr bullets in around 2700fps. He had nothing but praise for the Creedmoor. I have a 338 lapua but I am selling it. Its accurate but has two much recoil shooting it off the bench. My rings came in today. Guess where I will be tomorrow.
