Jiyanu, 55, an aboriginal Bunun hunter in Taitung county, Taiwan known as the "Hunter King" because he has slain 997 wild mountain boars over the past 40 years and is on his way to reaching his goal of 1,000. Eschewing firearms, Jiyanu does it the old fashioned way with a 30-centimeter long machete and hunting dogs.
