Here in Midwest Germany we hunt the wild pig as a main prey, but we usually do it from a Hochsitz (high stand) or in organized hunts with beaters (Treibjagd).

Two questions, out of pure curiosity (no offense intended):
1) What happend to the prey? Were the shot pigs retrieved and butchered?
2) What bullet did you use in the Mauser?
