Thought you might enjoy the following story: Last year I was hunting a guest farm near Warmbaad(sp)where the owner needed to have a couple of excess animals taken off the farm. He called my P.H. up on the telly, and asked if he had anyone who wanted a Blue Wildebeest. I of course was quite game to take a good one. Now let me say that this couldn't be considered a "hunt" by any stretch of the imagination. It was simply removing an extra animal from the property-the land owner got the meat to sell, and I got a species I wanted for my den. Anyway, after going out and collecting the critter, we loaded it up into the back of the truck just as a couple of campers came down the road. They saw the Wildebeest in the back of our truck, and got out to take a look at it. The woman who got out of the car asked the land owner if it was sick, as it appeared to be sleeping. The owner told her "yes, and this fine chap was kind enough to come out and give it a 300 grain pill to help it out". She then replied "oh, that's so nice of him", and got back in her car and drove on. True story!
