They traditionaly shoot tighter groups right out of the box than the other production rifles in their price class. They have those peeny little tits for extractors and a rather flimsy bolt stop design.
Most Remingtons work well all their hunting lives with no problems, however. I just never quite trust them...
My 721 in 300 H&H has been at my side for 40 years, and has never had problem one...
Maybe if I picked up and shot it once, that would change...
