I do not know he details of the current bull he took, put his previous World Record bull was taken on Public land that you, I or anyone with a tag could hunt. He hunted that bull by himself, without a guide. And he sealed the deal. In my book he is one heck of a hunter.

Just finding a bull like that is almost an impossible task. But then actually getting within bow range and taking him is simply amazing. Take 100 bow hunters, point that bull out and tell them to go get him and I'd bet less than 1% would be able to do it. In the end it comes down to hunting skill.

Lots of people will say "If I had all the time to hunt like Chuck Adams then I could get animals like that to" Well..............what is stoping you? (No Ann I do not mean YOU

...it is just rethorical example) This guy saw what he wanted to do with and get out of life and did it. I addmire that. It doesn't happen that often. Most people just "accept" what life gives them and adapt to it.

Ann, like you I used to feel the same way about big name hunters. Then I met and talked to a few Miles Keller being one and Chuck Adams the other. I must say, both were down to earth guys. Just regular hunters in a group of hunters. Neither gave me the impression that they were on a pedistool .....above the rest of us.

If you get a chance, read Chuck Adams book, Life at Full Draw It is not only very good archery book but it talks about what drives the man. He is a supreme preditor. Not very many people have the skill to stalk and take game, on the ground, with a bow. But he does. And he has done it so many times that it surely is more than just luck.
