I often have some adventures when hunting because I am looking for adventures : I choose Dangerous game preferably and the bow comes just to rough it up.
Then the usual recipes :

1) choose a serious PH, this forum is sort of a goldmine in this regard
2) obey the PH : never complain, bitch, rant or discuss
3) walk : most of the hunts are done with the legs. The more one walks, the more game one sees, the more one shoots.
