I would have to agree with ErikD--

I like my Mdl 70 safeties but have had the bolt open in brush when in the middle position--not cool!

I have an interesting after market safety on a modified Mdl 98 custom Mannlicher.It has only two options and the full motion up and down is about 60 degrees.
The safety is on the LEFT side of the action activated by your thumb with the up postion as safe and the down as ready, safety off.

Kinda like a 1911 with the thumb safety.I think I like it!!
