Their weight estimate of 9.97 pounds for 300 H&H seems excessive to me. My pre-64 M70 is more than a pound less scoped and ready to go (custom stock) and is a real pleasure to shoot. Can't imagine toting a 10 lb 300 H&H around (sans scope).
