Have posted pics of two of my classic rook & rabbit rifles under the WG thread. Here are some more:
1 & 2. A W Jeffery side lever hammer rook rifle in .297/250 rook calibre:
3. A Manton of London & Calcutta side lever hammer rifle converted to .22LR by a 'Parker rifled' tube (this one is for sale - please look at my website www.historicguns.co.uk):
4. A nice BSA .310 Cadet Martini action rifle. Sometimes called a 'Kangaroo Cadet' as vast numbers of these military training rifles were shipped out to the Commonwealth of Australia for shooting kangaroos/dingoes etc.
5. A lovely Greener martini action rifle with a heavy barrel that has been converted to .22 Hornet (a real fox killer).
6. A good original 1851 Navy Colt with all matching serial numbers for about 1861 (also for sale)
And finally, my lovely original Remington 1858 - super bore and shoots really well.
As I said before, anyone who loves Rook & Rabbit rifles really must buy Colin Greenwoods book which has just been published 'The Classic British Rook & Rabbit Rifle' ISBN 1 86126880-7
