yeah, the whelen is potent medicine for any thin-skinned game, the only problem with the remmington loads in 250 is that the bullets are so-so in quality and because its both a RN bullet and a generally lesser powder charge, your ballistics (trajectory) really suffer. I think Federal Loads a 225gr Partition (wish they did a 250!!!)

I love the 250gr for another reason... beyond 300 yds, its both faster and flatter than the 200s due to the better BC... of course, anything with a decent BC will beat the pittiful 200gr...
