Welcome to the NitroExpress.com forums.

Perhaps you could post what sort of hunting you hope to do with the new double rifle and also what existing big bore rifles you already have and have used.

For example if you said you are planning an East African trophy bull elephant hunt and want THE best elephant double rifle calibre, the 500 might be the one.

Also if you have several rifles already in 416, .450 or ,458 etc then perhaps a step up to the .500 might also be an idea.

Mickey and Mac (and others) can give you a lot of good advice.
