A New Old Caliber

There seems to be a lot of interest in the 45-70 caliber these days. With Garrett producing cartridges that give 2000 FPS velosity and produce a ME of 3100 FT/LBS, and the Big 5 having been successfully taken with these cartridges in Africa, what would be WRONG or WRIGHT for a DR in 45-70.

Everyone is invited to participate in this discussion. All I ask is that we take an honest and hard look at the cartridge and voice realistic views and opinions as to a DR in 45-70.
