Jens article deals with the woke media racism. Hypocritical stressing about a couple of tourist sisters killed by an elephant cow. A cow wounded in the incident. A cow with a calf. Probably both will die.

Its seeming OK to kill an elephant to protect game viewing tourists. But very wrong to kill an elephant on sporting hunting safaris, or elephant herd culls. On a sporting hunting elephant safari, a cow with a calf would never be shot.

As Jens mentions, native Africans living with elephants, buffalo, hippos, crocs, lions, leopards etc are regularly killed. No outcry from the hypocritical woke racist western mass media. A thousand deaths don't get a single mention. Two silly western white sisters do. Get front page stories. Brown and black lives are unimportant to the liberal leftist racist woke mass media unless they can be used for some anti west activist propaganda.

African populations are unfortunately expanding. And ever encroach the wildlife areas. A problem needing solutions.

Culling excess wildlife to the limits of available land, whether by sporting highly paid safaris, or by other culling is derided by the fake news western mass media. Yet very much part of the needs to protect and prevent some deaths among local populations. Ensure or helpmeeduce shamba food crop destruction, deaths of people just going about their normal daily lives.
