Good morning, Allan,

That is great info. Your load gives the exact velocity that I am looking for. It seems very consistant (ie, little variance) velocity that should provide great accuracy.

The burn rate of N320 is a little faster than Unique and slower than Trail Boss.

I will buy a can of N320 to use.

The 5 gr load was from the Greenwood book on rook rifles and, considering teh original load was 10 gr of FFFg powder, reasonably seemed too hign. Looking at my notes, the actual load I used was 4.5 gr of Unique (10% less than Greenwood recommended) and that generated 1400+ fps velocity in my rifle.

BTW, I was also given a load of 3.0 gr Bullseye which is also way too strong of a load.

I am trying to get a good load so as to shoot my 295 rook in a match at Oakridge.
