I've got a commercial series 80 sedan diesel. 25 plus years old. Still going well. I don't need or want all the luxuries.
Lots of Aussie guys get a series 70 utility, tray top. Get it modified to a four door dual cab, tray at back. An old hunting friends son, his cost $150,000 purchase then dual cab modification. A lot of money for a commercial vehicle.
My old diesel, is a little slow. Especially up hill gradients. Not a problem in the bush, on a highway one needs a long lead time to pass a road train.
Steel bull bar. Steel roof rack. Rear tyre carrier. Two fuel tanks, 135 l in total. Dual batteries. Cargo barrier, divider, shelf. Only a hand winch, need a nice one still for the bull bar space. The one gor my bull bar was priced three times expected, some $4500. .
I'd love a dual cab diesel series 79 diesel traytop.
