The tip of the A / V can be used as a precise aiming point. As mentioned in the videos for handguns used for a 100 yard target at the bottom of the V. Same for a rifle.

The 32 moa circle allows quicker firearm alignment. Also quicker acquisition of the 2 moa dot or large 10 moa V. The large 10 moa V should be able to be very quickly seen. Unlike a 1 moa tiny dot.

A 32 moa circle is 32 inches at 100 yards. A bit over 2 1/2 feet. 64 inches at 200 yards, 5 feet. At 50 yards 16 inches, 1 1/3 feet. At 25 yards 8 inches, 2/3 of a foot.

For a shotgun barrel imo a useful circle say to 50 yards. Shorter ranges, very useful.

The 10 moa V. If the point of the V is clear, very good accuracy should be possible. 10 inches at 100 yards. 20 inches at 200 yards. At 50 yards 5 inches. Should be very easy to see quickly.

If it works better than open sights, a plus.

A key question. Will the V be starry for me like dots can be?

Which would be better:
1. 10 moa V inside a 32 moa circle; or
2. 2 moa dot inside a 32 moa circle?

Probably dependent on whether the dot is starry or clear? Whether the V is clear or starry. If both are starry, the dot is better.

The tiny 2 moa dot is far improved by the 32 moa circle.
