I subscribed for 20 years or so, I had a year left on my current subscription when they shut down. They let me use the unused portion on some books they had in stock. I agree there were a lot more shotguns than double rifles in last few years but I still looked forward to every issue. When I talked with them on the phone they said they were going to do a few books on fine guns and they were going to print a 3rd index volume (they have a 1&2 readers index). At least we have that to look forward too.
