Sorry Brooks but i disagree with you on your post--the days gone by were the days when you could hunt any bloody thing you wanted whenever you wanted and about the only thing that affected you was the tyranny of long distance travel not having modern jetliners to use.
The days when i could walk down the street with my airgun or .22 on the way to my plinking spot ? all gone coz the "people" dont want you to.
Hour many lions did you want to nail--how many buff--bag limits?? there weren`t any!
Using dogs/hounds on all sorts of species? yep we can still do so but back then it was part of life without restictions,WITHOUT TREE HUGGING ARSE SHAGGING GREEN CAT LOVERS to put up with--think about it mate NO BLOODY GREENY IMPACT on your hunting
NO RULES just bloody hunting--isnt that what you want to do?Just hunt without green crap?
Days of `rooing with fast dogs ..[censored] everybody had a `roo dog back then ..no restrictions..even lions were hunted with dogs back then.
What about the Masai Morans hunting male lions with spears a way of traditional life back then ..can they do it now?
No! because some prick decided they couldnt! Give me a time machine to go back and follow a Masai lion hunt...please!
Walk over the top of Ngorongoro crater to see unlimited game before you eyes..game which in the old days you could hunt,not now.
Days of carrying a handgun for whatever are gone too.
No limits imposed on your hunting...[censored] one could go on forever about old days..
What have we got today?
Well we havent got much at all,yep we have fast planes,great rifles and gear and all the trimmings for hunting..where? half the bloody time it is in "ranch" situations or in areas not taken from us by the greenies in the Nat parks offices around the world not in the true wilds that were available to us back then..remember India where in those days one could hunt any bloody thing you wanted from tigers to deer from boar to antelope to high country sheep with a retinue of servants fit for a Maharajah well sadly to say in these days of NOW India like many other places has NO hunting at all.. i could go on and on rambling about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
