Accessing new message quickly

There is a very useful feature on the "Main Index" page. Look to the bottom and see "View Recent Messages" for

"Last 24 hours"
"Last 48 hours" &
"Last 7 days".

These pages list recently posted messages in last date order with subject, forum, user, and time posted.
