Larcher,

A .375 is very useful everywhere, including North America. North America has bears. Some of them consider people to be on the menu. Also a lot of hunting in North America is done on farms and ranches, and domestic cattle can get very upset. Also if you take head shots on jack rabbits (hares) with a .375 you have a nice headless hare ready to clean and cook.
