bullet jump to the rifling??
      15/02/05 11:59 PM

Dearest Friends,
How much "jump" is too much??? I have an antique H&H cal. 450 #1 Exp. 2 3/4 in. It has a very slow twist and the orig. bullet weight was only 270 gr. I have tried swaging and paper patching, casting, etc. But every bullet I try always seem to be a L O N G way from the throat. I've finally got the thing shooting fairly decent with both bbls. coming into 6 or 7 inches at 100 yds. but I do wonder about the long bullet jump. Is it having an adverse effect on the accuracy. Any thoughts??? SP2
PS don't forget the CADS shoot April 30 in S. Indiana.
