Scopes for small action rifles

Need help with scopes. Am having a purdey single shot rook rifle built octagonal barrel Q-D mounts also a boss O-U 5.6x50R rifle ( similar action to 410 action with greater bolsters ) both small slimline guns. Have 2 new etherington optical mildurah, Victoria australia scopes 3/4 inch tubes steel 13 inches long. I am happy to fit 1 on hornet however unsure about suitability for boss O-U. Boss is also Q-D mounts. Etherington scopes are 60+ years old and new. What would you fit.
