Point of View Double Rifle, Hunting Oryx & Lion Kalahari
      08/03/14 11:08 AM

This is the first video, a Gemsbok / Oryx reach shot with my Merkel .375, my wife and kids accompanied and I was flat out of the wife's patience on waiting. Had to make this shot happen, and it was the last day of my hunt, as you'll see it's a good stretch for a double with iron sights. The video is 2 minutes long, and to start the bull was facing us during the wait part of the video, and was shot as he slowly turned to walk away.

I have a Lion video from the same perspective but it requires a bunch of editing yet, as it's hours long following tracks, I started the camera every time we thought we were close. Lion is just as he fell, so not pretty or staged, only photo on hand so far always take a pic of how it ended.
