Kudae, my friend, you normally are spot-on with your observations, but here have mis-identified the optic.



The rifle is fit with a 1.25 x 4 Schmidt & Bender 30mm tube scope set in H&H quick detachable mounts. Correct identification of the scope doesn't change its appearance. If you don't like the looks of it this makes no difference.

I think if a double rifle has a scope, this is a pretty good choice. JMHO!
