Wildcattle you are quite correct! Mine were I think PHV1 actions with dolls head but I seem to remember all three had a slot in the nose of the doll's head for a third lock. So it may not have been a screw grip, but simply an extra rotation lock. It has been over 30 years since I owned those three rifles! ..............................................
