Know anything about this double rifle?

Hello to all as this is my first visit to this site. I'm hoping to find out some information about a double rifle that my father just recieved from a friend.
The rifle is stamped Miller van. Greiss. Under each barrel near the chamber is stamped 8,7mm. Then on each side of the barrel by the chamber is stamped 3,5 GCBP. The rifle is fully engraved, has express sights and two machined grooves to attach a scope. The trigger guard is also made out of some sort of horn. The guy he got it from had never fired it and wasn't sure what it is chambered for. It came with 2 dummy rounds which are .375 H&H cases with no belt. Any information about this rifle would be great. Thanks.
