Talley rings
      01/11/04 03:15 AM

My rings from Talley finally arrived. They are the QD with levers made to fit my Brno 602 in 375 H&H, but I have found that there is about 1/16" (using my eye-ometer) play in the slot for the rear ring. Is this tolerence normal? Is it best to have the ring touching the front or rear of the slot? And finally, which possition should the levers finally rest in? I've noticed when it is in the 12 o'clock position that there could be a chance to knock it loose when opening the bolt. I think I remember Ray or somebody say to tape them up. Thanks in advance.
