I don't know what I would do, probably go in and try to stick the muzzle close and pull the trigger. BUT, I would probably talk to whoever I was with about what to do before we went out, a bit like PH's do with clients.
i just tend to talk before going out so everyone knows what to do if you get lost, get charged, get hurt etc. Probably the military training coming out !!!

Yes, the bear might turn on you but hopefully if you have the gun loaded and you were going in, the gun is at least facing forwards and you could at least pull the trigger.

The young kid will definitely be worth watching.
