Strange Mannlicher Bolt Handles
      16/06/11 12:20 AM

Hello. Long time lurker, first time poster.

In my search for a M-S to call my own, I've run across this rather odd example of customization:

Somewhat ungainly, but I imagine this was done perhaps to accommodate a shooter accustomed to the shorter bolt handle placement from the end of the action found on say the Mauser 98's.

Is this particularly common? Are there examples found on other split ridge actions besides the M-S?

Cheers,
Bob
