This is not the biggest Waterbuck we have hunted and I must add that waterbuck is one of those animals that I still have to shoot myself as well and will hopefully soon.
But I just love the look on this one very unique with one horn more straight than the other.
This waterbuck was shot with a 416 hoffman and 400 gr swift a frame he couldnt get up after the shot altough he tried. Waterbuck are tough and with their long hair makes it more difficult to track them as it takes a long time before the blood hits the ground after soaking the hair.
