Often it is heard about all the hidden costs of hunting in Tanzania. All the add-ons that when added on mean that good value hunt suddenly becomes much more expensive.

What I would like is a thread where "all is revealed". Where the Tanzanian fireams tax is listed, the government licence fees and trophy fees of the outfitter (are they the same thing?) ec

Safari Costs in Tanzania

Daily Rate (hunter) (1x1 or 2x1 etc)
Daily Rate of observor (non-hunting)
Tanz Government Game Licence fees (maybe included in a package or additional)
Firearms Licence fee or tax (per firearm): $ X
.....
Charter flights: by plane or by passenger ?

I have to dig for the list not having hunted there but maybe others could add to it in the meantime.

PS This is the start of a planning process for me to hunt there. One day
