I have been using the GS solids in 404,416 Rem., 450-400,9.3x62, 9.3x64, and the 375 for the last few years..My good friend Johan Calitz has shot a ton of elephants with them in his Searcy 470. I will be shooting them in my Searcy 470 as they regulate with the factory regulation load...

I have shot a lot of Buffalo with them and as far as I am concerned, based on my experience and Johans experience, I see little need for any other bullet..That flat nose solid penitrates better than anything I have seen and the permanent cavity and temporary cavity made by them on game is very close to that of a soft point...

I have shot a lot of plainsgame with them in my 375 and 416 and they kill about like one would expect from a premium soft...

They are the best of both worlds IMO...Also applies to the Bridger Bullets, but they no longer exist..
