That attitude doesn't seem to have worked so well for them --as in their current situation...

When I was there in 2004 and earlier--the irrigation systems from the once white farms, were being dismantled and sold as scrape iron...for the ever needed "immediate gratification"..oops again..now the fields sit idle and produce nothing while millions need food...what a sad mess of things indeed...
