New Jeffery Rook Rifle

Here is my new toy. It started life as a Jeffery rook rifle and was sometime later converted to a .410 single shot shotgun and that is what it was when I bought it for about $600 several years ago. About a year ago a gunsmith friend offered to help refurbish and convert it to a .22 Hornet for me. We spent about $500 more on parts and some outsourcing. Its OK now but still a work in progress. Still need lots more work on the oil finish on the stock, some re-inletting to improve wood to metal fit, removal of the too thick coats of varnish protecting the new case colors, a Silver's pad and eventually to find a rear sight that fits the top of the barrel better.
