Forgot to add the photo of the Sharps.
#1 Sporter 45/70 30 inch heavy barrel
Traditional pewter forearm tip
Ttaditional steel butt plate, (shotgun type)
Semi-fancy wood.
Copper penny front sight
Mid range Tang sight.
Weight 12 lb 6 1/2 oz.

I use Winchester brass, 70 grains 1 1/2 F Swiss black powder, 20-1 postel 535 grain Paul Jones bullet with SPG lub

Both bullets exited the buffalo an 115 yards through the front shoulder taking out the heart and lungs.

I would have added the photo with the above post but for some reason it would not take two photos.
