It can be loaded down with no problem but I am more of a one load/one cartridge type of person. I don't shoot it any more because it was rebarrelled for .375 H&H. If I was doing it all over again I would load a 165 or 180 gr Triple Shock to what ever velocity my rifle liked best and go hunting. I wouldn't be afraid to tackle a moose or elk with the 165 TSX. If you want a dual load try the 165 TSX @ about 3000-3100 fps for lighter game and a 200 gr @ about 2700 fps for the bigger stuff.
